Social responsibility

Based on our values “standing tall, smiling eyes, big heart and a lot of willpower” we want to do what we can to contribute to a better society.

We donate computers to self-help organisations
In 2011, Inrego donated computers to both Stadsmission (City Mission) in Stockholm and Save the Children in Lithuania. It is our conviction that good computers should be used properly and for a good cause!

At Inrego we work to ensure a good working environment
We advocate an open dialogue, quick problem solving, power of initiative, open-ended discussions and room to make mistakes. Enjoyment, job satisfaction and security are key words in the work environment. The well-being of our staff is regularly monitored using staff surveys, performance reviews, exit interviews and targeted interventions wherever necessary.
Inrego has held OHSAS 18001 work-environment certification since 2011.

Want to give young people the chance to enter the job market?
We consider it crucial to give young people the chance to join the job market. Here it does not matter if you are self-taught, it is your knowledge, performance capability and attitude that counts. Many young people get their first work experience at Inrego which is important to bring to a future workplace or to higher education.

Discourage illegal dumping, bribery and corruption
We do our utmost to discourage illegal dumping of electronic waste in the developing world through our program for Responsible Handling. This means that we say no to enquiries involving a profitable sale if the deal does not meet our ethical guidelines.
Likewise, we work long term in all our relationships and take a firm stand against unethical behaviour such as bribery and corruption.
