Depending on your needs and your equipment, Inrego can offer three different packages for the management of used IT equipment, Scrap, Economy and Business.
- Business: The package for those who want it all and want full control of their equipment. You have valuable equipment where you want us to run a secure erase, and document and create an environmental report. And where you receive the maximum financial return. You receive feedback with serial numbers and asset numbers, erase certificates and environmental report in which you can see the carbon and energy saving the reuse process has leveraged. A report that you can then link to your organisation's quality, safety and environmental management work.
- Economy: Is the package if you have valuable equipment that you can be compensated for, and that you want to sell at the lowest cost. You have no need that we run a secure erase and do not require an environmental report even though you promote reuse and environmentally sound management.
- Scrap: Is the package if you have equipment that has no value and cannot be reused and you want to get rid at the lowest possible cost while preserving environmentally sound management.
Process
Depending on the type of service you are looking for, the process differs slightly. Below is a description of the process of our most comprehensive service - Business. If you select either of the services "Scrap" or "Economy "some of the following components are not included. A common theme to all services is that they offer sustainable environmentally sound management of your IT equipment
Registration on arrival
When the equipment arrives at Inrego, an arrival registration is immediately made for all units with an individual ID number that is linked to the serial number which then accompanies the unit through the entire process.
Testing and data deletion
The information recorded is supplemented during testing by more equipment-specific information such as performance, memory and hard disk size, condition of equipment and more. During the testing we also delete all information on units that contain storage media (hard drives).

Anonymisation and reconditioning
Prior to reselling, all equipment is made anonymous and reconditioned. This means that all customer-specific labels are removed and any customer information, for example, in the BIOS is erased. The equipment is cleaned inside and out and improved as much as possible to become as attractive as possible ahead of the next step.
Feedback report
The feedback report is your proof that the equipment has been taken care of in a professional manner. It contains a detailed status list of serial numbers on all devices. The list is linked to the deletion certificates on all hard drives. These deletion certificates are your proof that the equipment has been securely deleted.
The feedback report also includes an environmental report showing how much carbon dioxide and energy you save by recycling your equipment as opposed to scrapping it. The environmental report can be used for calculating and reducing your organisation's environmental impact.
The report also serves as invoicing data specifying the services you have purchased from Inrego and how much money you can invoice us for your equipment.
